Pico Azores and it's surrounding area are considered one of the top whale and dolphin watching destinations in the world.

​

This area of the north Atlantic has the most Cetaceans species on earth, over 24 different ones have already been observed. Some like the sperm whale do not only migrate through this area but actual live here all year round, the rich food-chain is the main reason.

​

​In the Atlantic, Pico Azores is the meeting point for these beautiful  creatures, most of these whale watching trips take place not too far from the shore...they are very safe and in their terms...we are only visitors.

We work very closely with the best operators for this activity on the island f Pico and surrounding islands. Safety and responsibility for the environment is a must and most important.
